  Job Description

The goal of the project is to develop a replacement for the VMware Esxtop tool. Esxtop is quite popular and widely used by VMware customers and internally by VMware developers, directly working with and on the ESXi host. The new implementation will be based on already developed and tested modules.

The candidate will have the chance to work on C and C++ programming languages, using professional tools and libraries, gain knowledge in many low-level areas like: UNIX/POSIX system programming and how actually the VMkernel hypervisor is working.

Project Overview:

• High maintainability – easy to extend and maintain;
• Developed modules should be completely isolated, allowing their usage in different applications;
• The application should provide user-friendly intuitive way of usage.
