The Information Systems Solution Architect internship will allow you to build on your technical knowledge with practical experience with cloud and big data technologies, security and mobility solutions and lay the foundation for your future profession in the IT industry.
The Solution Architect plays a key-role in building the technology and resource design of a project related to his/her area of expertise. The position is within the Consulting Services organization of HPE and is vital both in the pre-sales phase (prior deal being won) and delivery phase (post deal win). During the first phase, the Solution Architect familiarizes himself/herself in great detail with the customer’s needs via written documentation and customer contacts. On the basis of the learned information, he/she works in close collaboration with the opportunity team (Bid Team) in order to produce the best solution fit for the customer – from technology and price point of view. In the later phase, he/she may participate in the implementation of the designed solution. The Solution Architect is the “heavy artillery” of the Consulting organization of HPE and as such excels in displaying knowledge and authority both within the company, and in front of customer representatives.
The applicant must have a genuine interest in IT and be following closely the latest trends in the industry, or the specific technology field he/she is specializing in.
