The Bulgarian office, located in Sofia, consists of various organizations that support the local and European businesses.
Experian Group is currently looking for Interns in the Credit Scoring Analysis Team for its recently established Sofia based Regional Analytics Group.
The Intern role will be as follows:
• Communicate effectively face-to-face, through e-mail and by telephone across the analytics teams both in Bulgaria and across the region;
• Extract, formulate and manipulate data to create the structured samples necessary to carry out data analysis/scorecard development. This is carried out in WPS (similar to SAS);
• Follow established quality procedures utilizing both in-house and third party software;
• Develop robust analytical solutions for diverse clients, primarily in the financial sector – this includes the development of statistical models and ad hoc data analysis;
• Question results through applied intelligence and interpret into conclusions and recommendations;
• Plan, organize and complete own workload in order to meet project commitments within agreed timescales.
We are looking for students or recent graduates with the following skills:
• Working towards a degree in a numerate/mathematics-related subject;
• Strong technical and analysis skills, with at least a basic knowledge of programming;
• Passion for devising practical solutions to challenging problems;
• Fluent in English – both written and spoken.
