Billing System Administrator
Job Description:
General operating, maintaining and supporting of billing system and related processes. Developing and implementing scripts and tools supporting and expanding billing functionality. Preparing and executing reports based on billing data and structure. Provide expertise and highest-level support to business processes ensuring billing operations continuity.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Configure, maintain and support billing system processes and applications, assuring their fluent 24/7 operation;
- Generate ad-hoc and regular reports based on billing data and structure;
- Evaluate and implement software improvements and new technologies, according to vendor recommendations;
- Participate in the design and development of new billing system processes and applications;
- Problems troubleshooting and highest level of technical support;
- Provides technical lead and/or supervises application upgrades and maintenance.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of Oracle RDBMS and PL/SQL;
- UNIX / Linux shell scripting;
- General knowledge of XML;
- Knowledge/ Experience in Java/J2EE development is considered a big advantage;
- Knowledge/ Experience in report generating based on relational DB;
- Knowledge/ Experience in system integration processes is an advantage;
- Previous experience with other billing system software is an advantage.
Qualification/Education:
- Computer science or a related field;
- Cisco networking certifications are advantage.
Languages:
- Excellent knowledge of English.
