Who are we?
We are a team of 35+ talented, highly motivated, goal-driven, and fun professionals building next-gen user interface technology and changing the face of video games. We work with cutting-edge game engines, software, and hardware to solve hard technology problems for game developers. Coherent Labs started seven years ago and is run by developers and gamers with vast experience in the gaming industry. Our customers, spread around the globe, love our product and our technology powers amazing games like Bluehole’s PUBG and Microsoft’s Sea of Thieves.
Who are you?
- A person who enjoys communicating with and helping others;
- Someone who is excited about working with leading gaming studios;
- Individual with analytical mind that ensures clients’ UI runs smoothly by advising them on the usage and interaction between the game engine code (C++) and the UI (HTML/JS), troubleshooting issues, and offering solutions.
What will you do:
- Actively communicating with clients, advising them on optimal usage of the SDK, and recommending ways to achieve their UI-related goals;
- Troubleshooting and resolving client issues;
- Documenting knowledge in the form of knowledge base and tech notes;
- Working on all desktop and current gen console platforms (PC, Mac, Linux, XB1, PS4, Switch).
Requirements:
- Excellent command of English and excitement about games and game development;
- Basic programming skills and general programming knowledge with C++;
- Ability to learn and curiosity as we are rapidly growing;
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS/JS will be considered a plus;
- Experience with Unity3D, Unreal Engine 4, or other game engines will be considered a plus.
