What you'll do as Junior Web Developer

• Have a senior mentor that can guide you through your journey with us.
• Learn new technologies and the best industry practices and standards on the go.
• Have access to an online learning platform like Udemy and Pluralsight.
• Develop and maintain interesting and real-world web applications with high traffic.
• Write high-quality code and API based software, supported by the whole team.
• Work in close collaboration across all Dev/QA/BI/DevOps teams.
• Experience from first-hand what a real-world high traffic and high availability architecture looks like.
• Follow Agile Methodologies.
• You can work full-time or part-time on a schedule that will allow you to combine work with your studies

 
What we are looking for

• Knowledge of either PHP, Golang, Node.js, Python or similar
• Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JS
• Knowledge of MySQL, PostgreSQL (or other relational databases)
• Knowledge of Git and understanding the concepts of version control
• Knowledge of a NoSQL database like Redis, MongoDB, CouchDB or similar is a plus.
• Knowledge of Software design patterns
• Knowledge of Message brokers like RabbitMQ, Kafka or similar is a plus
• Fluency in English

• Golang based microservices architecture
• PHP and PHP based frameworks for the Web Portals – Laravel, Slim
• Databases - Redis, MariaDB, Postgres
• Message brokers like RabbitMQ
• Containerization via Docker, Orchestration via Docker Swarm and Kubernetes
• Web servers – Nginx, Apache
• Vanilla JS or Vue.js based frontend, depending on the project
• CSS3 and preprocessors, HTML5
• NPM, Webpack and similar tools
• Gitlab based CI/CD flow
