What are we looking for?
We are looking for a motivated frontend web developer to join our team and contribute to the many new features that are planned. You will help to engineer the new MobiSystems web sites and applications, so that they use a modern technology stack and a microservice architecture. You will work in a team with experienced developers, product managers, UI/UX designers, QAs in an agile environment and deliver new features for our users on a weekly basis.
Responsibilities:
● Develop and maintain modern, responsive web applications using React and Next.js
● Implement UI components based on design specifications
● Collaborate with Product, UX, QA, and Engineering teams to deliver high quality features
● Participate in planning, estimation, and technical discussions
● Write clean, maintainable, and well structured code following best practices
● Contribute to code reviews and gradually improve coding standards
● Integrate frontend code with REST APIs
● Follow best practices for performance, accessibility, and cross browser compatibility
● Use AI powered development tools to optimize workflows, assist with code generation, refactoring, debugging and accelerate delivery
● Apply critical thinking when using AI-generated code and ensure quality and maintainability
Requirements:
● B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Informatics, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
● 1-3 years of professional experience in frontend development
● Good knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript
● Hands-on Experience with React and Next.js
● Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles
● Understanding of state management (Redux, Zustand, MobX or similar)
● Understanding of modern build tools (Webpack, Vite, Babel)
● Understanding of REST APIs
● Familiarity with modern engineering practices: Git, feature branches, code reviews, CI/CD
● Experience with AI coding tools or strong willingness to learn and use them in daily development
● Ability to evaluate and refine AI-generated code with guidance from senior team members
● Strong attention to detail and ownership of assigned tasks
● Very good spoken and written English
● Good communication and teamwork skills
Extra credits for:
● Experience building complex, user facing web applications
● Experience with Node.js
● Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, Playwright)
● Knowledge of UX/UI patterns (responsive, adaptive, mobile first)
● Practical experience using AI tools for refactoring, documentation, or test generation
