Job scope/summary:

HP Insight Remote Support (IRS) delivers automated & secure remote support for HP customer's servers and storage devices on a 24x7 basis. This enables our customers to spend less time solving problems and more time focused on their business. Installation Support Agent will work closely with HP customers and HP country teams in order to increase the rate of Insight RS adoption on customer devices.

Job specifics/responsibilities:

Promote & influence customer self-installation of IRS

Assist customers with deployment steps

Provide Insight RS information & assistance to the customer prior to installation

Assist with deployment finalization

Forward customer requirements to the country nominated HP contact or refer the customer to self-installation scripts

Increase Insight RS adoption

Timely elevation and/or escalation of complex problems

Dispatch problems to the appropriate team

Follow up on the successful completion

Manages multiple tasks or cases simultaneously without supervision

Experience:

Minimum of 1 year, customer facing experience

Experience in telemarketing is an advantage

Technical background

Qualifications:

Fluent in verbal and written English

Fluent in one of the following languages: German, French, Italian, Spanish

Excellent communication, negotiation, influencing

Customer oriented attitude

Fast learner

Ability to explain complex technical terms and processes

Ability to operate effectively within a virtual (cross-cultural) team

Self-motivated

Team player

Ability to prioritize tasks

Highly organized person

Proactive and able to work under pressure

Technical skills (procedures and documents the employee has to be acquainted with):

Unix or Linux experience

Experience and literacy of common Office products: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc
