Description

You will be responsible for the monitoring of the different cloud products, working on 24x7 shifts of 8 hours. This is a great opportunity to gain knowledge in the area of technical support.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Monitoring and handling of health checks/alerts for all the cloud products in SAP Cloud Platform (Integration and Orchestration).
  • Ensure the application availability by monitoring the applications and proactively monitoring the dependent components with a 24x7 coverage.
  • Work as team to assist in performing tasks as required by Level 2 team during outages.
  • Keep a track of the time log of issues during outages
  • Perform regular daily/weekly/monthly activities like activities hand-over etc.Requirements
  • Graduate in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent experience
  • Good knowledge on different IT technologies like Hardware, Operating systems, Networking, Virtualization, Cloud
  • Ability to stay calm during customer escalations
  • Ability to engage with new teams and collaborate
  • Skills to analyse, troubleshooting regular operational issues
  • Ability to work with the diverse nature of the team members
  • Good English language communication both written and verbal skills
  • Skills to adhere to new process and controls would be an added advantagNice to have:
  • Previous experience in Technical support role
  • Good knowledge on Cloud, Linux and DBs
  • Previous experience in work on shifts
  • Motivated and ready to learn in a fast paced IT environment
