The SAP Research team in Bulgaria was established a year ago and has already accomplished two highly successful large-scale EU-funded projects. We are now looking for an R&D Intern with a high interest in Web development to join our team and contribute to the progress of an undergoing open-source project. The project can be experienced live on the web:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Get solid understanding for the project technology and approach and develop required features
• Work autonomously on solutions research, design and implementation, supervised and helped by the team
• Actively interact with a multinational (USA, Germany, Bulgaria) and cross-organizational (HPI and SAP) team
• Effectively manage time to meet the project timelines and balance between academic, project and personal responsibilities
• Communicate regularly progress and problems, proactively look for feedback and improvements
• Learn and adapt quickly
REQUIREMENTS:
• Excellent knowledge in JavaScript, DOM, HTML (5) and CSS
• Good knowledge in XML, XHTML, AJAX and JSON
• Fluent spoken and written English
• Excellent problem solving and interpersonal skills
• Previous experience/ familiarity with the following will be considered an advantage: Web UI development tools, languages, patterns and technologies for rich, client-side UI (jQuery, Dojo, Prototype, YUI, GWT or alike); REST architecture
