The 'Installed Base Maintenance and Support' Organization (IMS) is responsible for the maintenance and support of SAP's product suite owning products which are in mass shipment. The SAP Java Engine IMS Team acts as a trusted advisor for any kind of SAP NetWeaver matters both for customers and internal SAP® stakeholders.
We are now looking for a Java Developer to join our team in Bulgaria.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Analyze, evaluate and resolve customer issues related to the implementation and operation of Java server based solutions in the area of User Management and Security.
• Maintain assigned modules of SAP WEB AS Java, creating fixes and developing new features when necessary
• Communicate with customers in a considerate and professional manner, clearly and politely providing highly valued remote services and consulting that enable customers to implement and operate their solutions at their maximum potential. Occasional visits on-site also possible
• Cooperate with other support groups/installed base development groups from different levels, providing and receiving knowledge transfer
• Participate in building up a knowledge base to improve the problem resolution process.
• Contribution to different kind of projects, e.g.:
- Development of supportability tools
- Development of new / additional features
- Projects aiming to reduce the workload in the Support Organization
REQUIREMENTS:
• Excellent programming skills in Java
• Practical experience in programming with Java or C#
• J2EE/JEE knowledge is an advantage
• Experience in DB, LDAP and Security areas is an advantage
• Good communication skills in English
• Self-reliant and teamwork-oriented individual
