Job Description Overview
Ultima is seeking a (Junior) Technical Analyst Consultant to join our organization and start immediately with the Training Academy program in Dublin, Ireland. The duration of the training is approximately 5 weeks. This program offers a tremendous opportunity to receive in-depth training in many valuable areas like finance, project management, software development and consulting skills.
After a successful completion of the training, the Consultant will be sent to a client within Europe in order to work on an implementation project on-site. Position is based in Sofia or Plovdiv and as a consultant you will be on client side every week, with the opportunity to travel back home on a weekly basis. Travel expenses, accommodation, travel insurance and daily Per Diem are covered.
Your Responsibilities
- Deliver custom extensions of the Calypso framework
- Develop new functionality for the client
- Gather requirements and produce specifications
- Train clients
Your Profile
- Bachelor or Master degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics with Computer Science or equivalent degree in this field is mandatory
- At least 2 years of experience with Java is a must
- Very good or excellent knowledge in J2EE and its most common libraries is required
- Experience in any additional programming language is a plus
- DB knowledge in Oracle or mySQL
- Very good English knowledge.
- Basic financial knowledge, mainly in the derivatives area, is a major plus
- Very good soft skills
- Ability to work in multicultural team
- Willingness to travel abroad and to learn new things
