For the needs of our growing international business we are looking to recruit a dedicated and highly motivated experienced professional for the position of :
Assistant Sales manager
Your role:
- Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers in person, and via telephone calls and emails;
- Identifying and approaching potential customers to prospect for new business;
- Listening to customer requirements and presenting appropriately to make a sale;
- Gaining a clear understanding of customers' businesses and aims;
- Making accurate, rapid cost calculations, and providing customers with quotations;
- Negotiating on price and delivery terms and closing sales;
- Gathering market and customer information;
- Representing the company at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations;
- Challenging any objections with a view to getting the customer to buy;
- Advising on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions;
- Recording sales and order information and sending copies to the sales office;
- Reviewing your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets;
- Identifying future buying trends;
- Keeping abreast of what competitors are doing;
- Attending team meeting and sharing best practice with colleagues.
Your Profile:
- Master Degree in Engineering or Economics;
- Highly energetic self-starter and natural leader;
- Innovative and Proactive
- Strong Communication and Presentation Skills;
- Comfortable working in start up environment;
- Able to communicate complicated technical issues;
- Self-motivated and flexible to work with negligible supervision;
- Fluency in English is a must, second foreign language is an advantage;
- Willing to travel abroad on frequent basis;
- Should have negotiation skills to deal with different kinds of customers.
