We are one of the industry leaders in our field and due to currently undergoing strategic business expansion we are now looking to recruit a graduate or a last-year student for position of VB.NET Winforms developer.
Job Overview:
The Graduate Developer will work on client server ERP, Accounting/Financial, Document Management and Automated Call logging Winforms systems using VB.Net, ADO.Net, Entity Framework, LINQ and TSQL, Crystal Reports, MS Office automation. The person will have exposure to SQL Server (2005 and 2008) as well.
This position is based in Sofia and is focused on the financial industry solutions. You will be exposed to the full project lifecycle and you have to acquire basic business knowledge related to financials and accounting.
In-house training both in Bulgaria and in the UK, supervision and mentoring will be provided to allow progression onto the primary role of maintaining, bug fixing, enhancing and developing ISG’s ERP Winforms VB.Net and SQL Server client server Business Operational Support System (BOSS), 24x7 Automated Call Logging and Document Management systems.
You will be afforded to grow technically. You must be able to pick up new technologies and processes quickly. As your skills and experience progress you will be expected to be involved in other bespoke and third party systems Winforms and Webforms systems as required.
We will cross train C# applicants to VB.NET.
Requirements:
Recent graduates or last-year students with exposure to practical development experience within their coursework.
You will be interested in working with large and complex client server ERP, Accounting and Financial systems using VB.Net, ADO.Net, Entity Framework, LINQ and TSQL - SQL Server 2005 and 2008, Crystal Reports, MS Office automation.
You must have keen interest in Mathematics/financials/accounting/bookkeeping.
You should possess excellent analytical skills, report writing and troubleshooting skills.
You must possess excellent English and be an outstanding communicator, both written and verbal and be able to directly interact and understand business users and their requirements both in Bulgaria and the UK.
You must have a positive and can-do attitude and be a team player.
